Carved from a burned Avocado Tree Trunk remnant 33 inches tall.
This avocado orchard was destroyed in the 2007 California Witch Creek Fire in the Mt.Woodson area SW of Ramona, California.

This piece was sculpted as a tribute to California' resilience from it's natural and man-made problems.
