The original design for the Rockin' Toucan was Lorenzo's second challenge at carving rockin' creatures and left in a natural wood with clear laquer finish.

The painted Toucan shown at left, is a version Lorenzo commissioned to be sculpted in Bali.

This set off a "flock" of copied rocking birds now sold everywhere. This was the FIRST.
